at home for joining us this hour. happy friday. what a week this has been. whoever packs president obama's bags is busy. he's going to asia tomorrow. no sitting u.s. president has ever visited the nation of cambodia before, but president obama is about to do so. no sitting president has visited burma either. but president obama is about to go there too. no president has ever done that. when he's there, he will meet with the opposition leader. what is the side note of this historic trip to burma? before the u.s. government decided to send a president to the country, we first decided we were ready to send a rock band to that country. the state department under a brand new president obama in 2009 authorized the great l.a. latin fusion band to go tour burma. a sort of ambassadors for u.s. culture in that part of the world. burma has only finally ended military rule there as of last year. after president obama makes his visit there this weekend, we have now learned we're going to be sending another american musical act to follow up the president's trip. this time it's jason mraz. he's schedul

there and one hit just 20 yards behind us. we are heading from one location to another. you probably heard the iron dome go off. you can see people taking cover right there. in this whole key in one of these sirens is to try to find a place to lay down and tuck in, somewhere like this rock. by the time the sirens go off to the time you need to be down is just 20 or 30 seconds am we heard the impact. you can see the firefighters hosing down the car. the air raid sirens went off at 8:00 this noarpg morning. you can imagine the people in the house, in the neighborhood, having breakfast, were thinking, as they heard the sirens and then heard the explosions. right now, we're still seeing the bright orange glows from the gaza strip, the israeli airstrikes coming in. and the rockets heading out. one just headed for tel aviv, we think was intersepted by the iron dome missile defense system, which has saved countless lives here on the israeli side. there are peace talks going on right now, we are told there is an envoy in cairo, that's probably a positive sign, but prime minister netanyahu says he

presumably used it to make it as authentic as possible. a new combat realism game that came out today, they were advised by oliver north. remember him? he was indicted for 16 felonies in the iran contra panel. he was a conservative movement hero. oliver north not only consulted on this new game that comes out today, he appears as a character in the game. look at his hips. in real life i don't think his hips swing like a hula dancer like they do in the game. i don't know. i've never seen him walk. when the character oliver north talks in "call of duty black ops 2," it's his real voice. here's the thing about this game that came out today and today's news, and i think a thing i guess nobody saw coming before it happened. the game comes out today and set 13 years in the future. it's set in the year 2025. although the game is supposed to be fiction, the cameo from oliver north is not the only way to make it seem connected to real people in the real world. there's an important scene in the game that takes place on a u.s. aircraft carrier, and that's named the "uss barack obama." and the u.

in the southwest, been in the u.s. since the was basically took half of mexico. and the new latino population which is foreign-born, 40% foreign-born, and the rest of the children of immigrants. very conservative. i know when asked about government they may give answers that are not extraordinary, but sometimes we get tangled, caught up with polls. resort have seen in this election cycle. and i think with latinos we cite polling with specific issues but is that a better understanding of where they're coming from you will get an understanding of why they're answering the questions that way. but i believe with the latino community, we lost the latino vote because of immigration. if we would have a better position on immigration, from the get-go, from the primary governor romney would've been competitive and it would've been competitive in those battleground states where the latino vote was decisive. and, finally, we have to stop being rockefeller republicans. we are not the party of the 47%. you know, when governor romney said what he did last week that obama won because it gives to latinos and other
